The Game Changer Podcast

Aug 19, 2016

This is by no means a new topic for me.  However it certainly is one that bears repeating. It is not what you do, but how you do it, that matters.  I was reminded of this topic again this week and what an impact it has when you enthusiastically, passionately, and with conviction, show up in what you are doing.  Remember what it was like as a kid when the recess bell rang?  It was a madcap race to see who could get to the playground first.  The same happened when the lunch bell rang, and the bell that announced the school day was over.  It didn’t matter what if it was; lunch, recess, or going home… we were just eager to respond with exuberance regardless of what the bell signified.

Now make this present day.   When was the last time you were really fired up about something?  I mean REALLY fired up?  Have we really become that apathetic about life, or is it that we hold back and choose to not show our enthusiasm like we once did?  Either way, I hope today’s show reignites the passion in you to rethink how you show up, and the difference it will make in the lives around you.  My good friends, Katie, Rich, and Mitch are shining examples of what it means to never say, “This is good enough” and to show up with their A-Game every day.

Here’s the link to learn about what Rich, a Battalion Chief in a California fire department, is doing with just some of his free time.  All of us can make a difference.  Don’t let another opportunity go by to do just that!
