The Game Changer Podcast

Inspiring you to make a difference.

Oct 13, 2016

We’ve all heard the line, “Give the gift you would like to receive.”  In a word… NO. (Unless you are brushing up on your skills as a narcissist.)  Give a gift that you have thoughtfully chosen, that the recipient would like to receive. Any quality relationship requires us to pay attention to what someone says, being present, and making mental note of what matters.  There are so many people who are busy jumping from one thing to the next, they wind up skimming the top of most everything.

To be someone who develops meaningful relationships, with depth, we have to pay attention to the details.  This holds true with your significant other, your kids, and in your job.  One of the greatest gifts you can give anyone, is to make them feel like they matter to you.  Love truly is in the details. Let someone know today, that they matter enough to you, to pay attention to what matters to them.

I also want to give a shout out to my self-proclaimed “biggest fan.”  I pay attention to all interaction on social media – Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.  Christy Mishler has been beyond kind on Twitter to me.  Repaying the love… if you are anywhere near Elkhart, IN, check out her studio, Fitness Training Unlimited:
