The Game Changer Podcast

Inspiring you to make a difference.

Jul 18, 2016

Dr. Kathy Gruver studied massage and natural health over two decades ago. Since then she has built up an award-winning massage and hypnotherapy practice, starred in her own television series, written five books, produced a DVD, lectured all over the country and has pursued degrees in higher education. Kathy has written dozens of health and wellness articles, appeared on 250+ radio and TV shows and her first health book, The Alternative Medicine Cabinet was selected as a Winner of the Beverly Hills Book Awards and a Finalist for the IndyExcellence Awards. Kathy’s latest, Conquer your Stress with Mind/Body Techniques has won five awards for excellence. Book number five, Journey of Healing, was just released and has already won four awards.

In my show today I talk to Dr. Kathy Gruver about what true well-being actually is, what it looks like, and how to achieve it, without a magical pill.  As I told Kathy, it is beyond rare that I agree with someone across the board regarding wellness, so I hope you enjoy this conversation as much as I did.  Take this 30 minutes and reconsider what well-being looks like to you.  Change what you believe, and you will change your life.

Best piece of advice: Go for it! Make a change, try something different, and get out of your comfort zone.

What you believe to be true: If we would just love more, most of our problems would go away.  Love ourselves more, which gives us the self respect to take better care of ourselves.
