The Game Changer Podcast

Inspiring you to make a difference.

Feb 15, 2016

Jeffrey Smith is a retired United States Air Force Master Sergeant. He did a variety of work mostly in information technology. He started the podcast Vroom Vroom Veer in May 2015 to capture stories when life can veer in a new and interesting way. Sometimes we safely navigate those turns and sometimes we crash. Either way, a veer always makes a great story, to help us all learn and grow.

What was a realization that you had that led you on your path?

That I realized that my identity or my label is no who I am.  It is so much deeper than that.

Why does the topic of “responsibility” mean so much to you?

Because I realized that I am responsible for everything that has happened in my life.  By my own design.  This was all part of the plan that I signed up for.

What is your best piece of advice?

Take accountability for your life.  Start a mindfulness practice.

What do you believe to be true?

All I know is that I know nothing.

“There is a field beyond all evil doing and all good doing, and I will meet you there.” Rumi.
