Where can people learn more about what you are doing?
In the bay area I host two difference groups. And I host retreats all around the world. As well as an on-line course that just got started (there’s still time to sign-up) hosted by the Shift Network, “Living from God Consciousness.” All of this can be found at www.mirandamacpherson.com. On my website you can download a variety of programs, as well as articles, and there is a live sanctuary. You can also find my schedule of where I am teaching here in the U.S. and internationally.
What is a daily practice that you maintain to keep your grounding?
Meditation daily… and silence. I also sing a lot of mantras throughout the day. And I love to get out in nature and go for a walk, to be present and taking in the environment.
What advice do you have for someone in a relationship where there is struggle with feeling like we don’t matter the way we wished we did?
Focus on what you are gifting to the relationship. What are you bringing to the relationship? Are you appreciating the other person? Also focus on the good times. Join your partner in their joy. Join them in what they are interested in. Share in what lifts their soul. Also focus on your core beliefs, from your childhood that may be showing up in your relationship. And have the conversation with your partner about how they are feeling as well. No matter how long you have been together, there’s no way you can know everything about them and how they feel. And in these conversation we make the other person feel loved, which then shifts the way both people have been feeling.
What is the best piece of advice you have to improve your relationship?
Take 3 deep breaths before engaging, and don’t multi-task. Approach your partner from a place of presence. Treat them as thought they truly matter. Really listen to them as you are talking with them.
What do you truly believe to be true?
Whenever you meet anyone it’s a holy encounter. As you meet them, you meet yourself. In one another we find ourself our lose ourself.
