For as long as I can remember, I have held in my mind the vision of the “Knights of the Round Table.” These were people you could trust, go to for advice, and above all else were honorable and trustworthy. I am blessed beyond measure to have such a “Round Table” of individuals that I count on. The photo taken for this episode is from last night, and I appreciate these ladies more than words can say. As you think about the people that sit at your Round Table, these are some words to consider as said by King Arthur as a requirement for his knights:
Thou must keep thy word to all and not be feeble of good believeth and faith. Right must be defended against might and distress must be protected. Thou must know good from evil and the vain glory of the world, because great pride and bobauce maketh great sorrow. Should anyone require ye of any quest so that it is not to thy shame, thou shouldst fulfill the desire.
If you don’t have your tribe, or your Round Table just yet, think about who those people would be. I have said many times, you are the sum of the people you surround yourself with. Choose wisely.
