Life has a funny way of forcing us into defining who we really are, when we least expect it. In fact, not just when we least expect it, but when it’s also very inconvenient. For the first time, I didn’t publish a Monday interview. I could make all kinds of excuses, but the truth is, I didn’t get it done. As I was getting ready to record this episode (about missing Monday’s podcast) a friend sent over a blog, from momastery.com that spoke to the point of this podcast, far better than I could on my own. The point of all of this is, when we are faced with a challenge, we have many options on how we are going to respond. It has been a long time since I have been as moved as I was by Glennon’s honesty. I think most others would have taken the easy road, and lied about their personal life, until it became more convenient to tell the truth. And choosing to lie the first time, is a slow boil death to a life of compromise to your soul. If you need some inspiration on the pain of honesty and the value of integrity, please listen to this episode, and check out her blog. This show is also a great lead in to next Monday’s show, that I hope you also are able to check out!
